Kirkland Residence – Speculative

The existing house was retained as the foundation of this Kirkland remodel, expanded and extensively reimagined. A dramatic spatial move connects the lower kitchen and entry level up through to the living room, which opens directly to sweeping view windows — a sequence that defines the experience of the home.

The project's impact was lasting: the new owner was so pleased with the result that they commissioned a rendered set of the drawings for framing, years after completion.
